Itinerary

DAY 1: Cusco-Soraypampa, Huamantay-Camping in Quiswarniyoc

Pick up from your hotel between 5:00 to 5:30 am, heading to Mollepata 2 hours from Cusco, where we take our breakfast, then continue to Soraypampa, where we expect the carriers and horses that will carry all the luggage, food and 7 kilos of personal belongings , then we start the hike uphill towards Lake Humantay for 2 hours. Arriving you will have enough time to explore, photograph the place and the guide will explain the whole meaning of the Humantay lagoon. After a couple of hours on the lake, we began to go down to the exclusive camp of Quiswarniyoc for 2 hours to have a lunch with vegetarian options, after having lunch you can rest, or you will also get to the Salkantay lookout near the camp. DAY 2: Quiswarniyuc-Salkantay Paso-Huayracmachay-Chaullay camp.

The hardest day, gets up 5 am, we give a coca mate let it be ready for breakfast at 5:45 am, walk to the peak of Salkantay Mountain from 3 to 4 hours all uphill hike with a regular and slow pace , arriving you'll take photos, the guide will explain, and you'll have time to explore, then down 2 hours for lunch, then we will go down 2 more hours for our camp Chaullay where we spent the night.

DAY 3: Chaullay-Sahuayaco Beach-Santa Teresa camp.

Sunrise in the Peruvian jungle, we woke you up with your coca tea 6:00 am, to take breakfast 7:00 am and start the hike to the beach Sahuayaco for 5 hours after breakfast, around 7:00 am, starts the hike to the Sahuayaco beach which is part of the Valley  of Santa Teresa, formed by the Salkantay River. DAY 4: Santa Teresa-Lucmabamba-Llactapata-Hidrolectrica-Aguas calientes.

Llactapata are the only Inca ruins along the Salkantay trail that you have the opportunity to visit on the fourth day, and from Llactapata you can see Machu Picchu, there is a beautiful view of Machu Picchu from a different angle. Start 5:30 am for your breakfast, then take the local transport for 45 minutes until Lucmabamba from where we walk 3 hours to the ruins of Llactapata. From there you can see Machupicchu, Huaynapicchu and for the last time Salkantay, we will return 2 hours of walk down for our lunch and rest afterwards, then begins the last part of the hike to Aguas Calientes for 3 hours more along the railroad track. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, take you to the hostel where you will have time to rest and shower, 7:00 pm The guide organizes the Last Supper in the restaurant in Aguas for after going to sleep, to start with energies for the next day Machupicchu

DAY 5: Aguas calientes-Machupicchu-Cusco

This days you visit Machupicchu, you will rise 4:00 am, to take your breakfast and start the walk for 30 minutes to Puente Ruinas where you will have control of your passport, continue the hike uphill towards Ciudadela de Machupicchu, we arrive around From 6:00 am, we will have a professional guidance for the Inca citadel of 2.5 hours, you will know, its history, art, culture and secrets of Inca architecture, then you have time to visit Machupichu on your own, if you plan to do Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu mountain, which require a minimum of 3 hours approximately, taking into account that you must have lunch and you have your return train at 18:20, 30 minutes before is the shipment to the train, the train takes us to Ollantaytambo, from Ollantaytambo in transport we head to Cusco arrive Do 10:30 pm approximately, the transport leaves you two blocks from the PLAZA DE ARMAS of Cusco.
